Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and credit card transactions. Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation and approvals. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed. Help monitor expense reports and support internal reporting requirements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred (internships included). Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. We are Quirch Foods. Our Passion is your Joy.
