The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Perform financial analysis to support decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement. Manage technical accounting tasks, including the preparation of tax documents and filings. Assist in regulatory reporting, ensuring timely submission of required documents. Write comprehensive financial reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations. Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights on financial management and performance metrics. Stay updated on LIHTC regulations and ensure compliance in all relevant accounting practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Proven experience in property accounting or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including account analysis, financial management, and regulatory reporting. Familiarity with GAAP principles and technical accounting standards. Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
