Accountant Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will execute journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and manage fixed assets for the company. You will play a crucial role in supporting audits, particularly focusing on SOX compliance, and contribute to month-end and year-end close practices while analyzing and interpreting financial data. Responsibilities Execute and perform journal entries and account reconciliations for one or more business units. Ensure proper Fixed Asset management for the entire company. Assist auditors during annual audits with a strong emphasis on SOX compliance. Support month-end and year-end close practices. Analyze and interpret financial data. Essential Skills Proficiency in accounting and general ledger management. Experience in fixed assets accounting and journal entries. 3-5 years of accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP. Experience with mid-large ERP systems. Intermediate Excel skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Work Environment This position is based in a fully on-site work environment located in Venice, FL.
