Full Job Description Position Title:

Billing & Accounts Receivable (AR)

Accountant Location:

Lake Mary, FL•3 months fully onsite for training, and then mostly remote (hybrid•at least 1x per week onsite)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday | 37.5 hours/week |

Core Hours:

7:30 AM•5:30 PM Position Summary The Billing & AR Accountant will generate client invoices from complex pricing structures, manage collections, track payments, reconcile general ledger accounts, and support monthly reporting. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue invoices based on contract terms (e.g., flat fees, claim-based billing). Ensure accuracy in billing and compliance with policies. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client payment issues. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on past-due balances. Process and track cash receipts, including check deposits and wire transfers. Reconcile general ledger and support monthly billing/revenue reporting. Assist with accounting projects and provide general department support. Qualifications Associate’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred). 3-5+ years of accounting experience; at least 2 years in AR, billing, or reconciliation. Experience with contract-based billing and client invoicing required. Strong Excel and general MS Office skills. Detail-oriented with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently and in coordination with remote team members. Willing to travel to California 1-2 times per year for team meetings/training.

Compensation Annual Salary Range:

$75,000•$77,500
