Segrera Associates is actively recruiting for an Senior Accountant with a full-service real-estate company headquartered in Orlando, FL. The Senior Accountant is a high visibility position within the company and offers a great opportunity for growth. You will be preparing financial reports to tracking company assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities, as well as assist with special projects and analysis Essential Job Functions Accounting oversight for multiple projects; including general ledger activity and job costing for all development assets. Review of costs incurred to budget and ensuring budgets are timely and accurately prepared and monitored Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Verify corporate charges are properly allocated and expensed in Division Financial Statements Assist in preparation of year-end audits Focused reconciliation process in key accounts such as Payroll and Payroll liabilities, Accrued Expenses, Prepaid Inventory, ASC 842 (Leases), Fixed Assets and Intangible Assets. Support other key corporate reconciliations as requested Ensure compliance with GAAP Education & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, or Business Administration Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Superb analytical and organizational skills. Strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and Internal Control development
