Salary Range:
Starting at $50,000 plus benefits for full time employees –
Location:
2101 Arc Drive, St. Augustine, FL – The Arc of the St. Johns. Inc.
Key Responsibilities :
Recording Financial Transactions:
Accurately record revenues, expenses and financial activities using accounting software.
Inventory Monitoring/Reporting:
Track inventory purchases and disbursements for group homes; perform annual physical inventory counts.
Intercompany Accounting:
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions.
Financial reporting:
Prepare general ledger adjustments and assist in the production of monthly financial statements.
Accounts Payable:
Review all payable transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Accounts Receivable:
Assist in reviewing receivable balances to ensure documentation and accuracy.
Reconciliation:
Assist the Director of Finance in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Compliance and Audits:
Support internal and external audits and help ensure adherence to financial regulations and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency with accounting software. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Experience in non-profit accounting. Familiarity with cloud-based accounting solutions or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, specifically Oracle NetSuite. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
