Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable, including posting charges, reconciling accounts, and addressing resident billing inquiries.
Oversee accounts payable functions, such as entering invoices, processing payments, and generating sales tax returns.
Track and reconcile fixed assets, including monthly journal entries and providing quarterly budget reports to department heads.
Execute bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.
Monitor and maintain daily bank reconciliations and cash management processes.
Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries for multiple accounts, including accruals and prepaids.
Assist with the annual audit by compiling documentation and creating schedules as needed.
Collaborate with residents, staff, and management to provide excellent customer service and address accounting-related concerns.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software (experience with MS Dynamics Business Central is a plus).
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and deliver results on time.
Comfort interacting with residents in a professional and patient manner.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
