Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 1 year of experience in public accounting or related. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for individuals, corporations, partnerships and fiduciary income tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting audits. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in modern accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger entries, and supporting documentation Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Handle tax preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Support audit engagements by collecting and analyzing financial data Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial regulations Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and client service Communicate with clients to address accounting and tax-related inquiries
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 1 year of experience in public accounting or related Strong understanding of accounting principles Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Software Proficiency:
QuickBooks Online & Desktop Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced functions) Thomson Reuters, Ultra Tax or similar tax preparation software Engagement software for audits
