Description:
A large manufacturing client of Insight Global’s is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team onsite in Ringgold, GA. A successful candidate will understand all aspects of cost accounting, including inventory control, standard cost, and cost analysis. The primary responsibilities will include maintaining and updating the stand cost system, reconciling general ledger accounts related to inventory, developing and tracking operational metrics, and preparing journal entries and reports for the monthly financial close and operating book. Additionally, this individual will generate backlog reports for management, develop monthly gross profit forecasts, and audit and assist with periodic physical inventory counts at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
