The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting. Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure the integrity of financial data. Manage accrual accounting processes to accurately reflect the company’s financial position. Utilize financial software, including Quickbooks, for efficient reporting and analysis. Collaborate with private equity stakeholders to provide necessary financial insights and reports. Conduct technical accounting research as needed to ensure compliance with evolving standards. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. Skills Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation. Strong knowledge of payroll processing and related regulations. Familiarity with accrual accounting principles. Proficient in using financial software, particularly Sage or similar platforms. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
