Responsibilities Oversee project accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions related to projects. Utilize accounting software for tracking project expenditures and revenues. Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Assist in payroll processing related to project staff and maintain accurate records of employee hours worked. Support private equity initiatives by providing detailed financial analysis and reporting on project performance. Maintain organized documentation for all accounting activities related to projects. Experience Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role, preferably within a project-based environment. Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles. Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable. Experience with bank reconciliation processes and payroll management is advantageous. Proficiency in using various accounting software applications, including Xero, is preferred. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
