RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT

YOU WILL DO

Our team provides important guidance and advice that often goes beyond the numbers. The Staff Accountants typical duties include (but are not limited to) the following: Reviewing and preparing client accounting data Client assistance and recommendations Reviewing and preparing monthly financial reports Reconciling bank, credit card and loan statements Adjusting journal entries Supporting payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable Preparing year-end 1099s Preparing sales tax returns Analyzing and reconciling accounts Performing other duties as assigned by owner and/or manager • What you need to succeed in this role High motivation and a friendly, energetic attitude Strong professionalism Solid communication skills-whether face to face, phone, virtual or written Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and meet deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping and/or payroll experience required Associates Degree in Accounting preferred Bookkeeping skills, general knowledge of payroll and sales taxes a huge plus, yet we are willing to train Experienced with MS Excel, Word and Outlook Unique aptitude for figures, organization, details, and problem-solving High level of professionalism, energy, and positive attitude Outstanding work record (No job hoppers!) Organized and dependable self-starter that can manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

COMPENSATION

Pantana CPA will reward your talents with an attractive base compensation of $22 – $25 per hour (DOE). Excellent career and income opportunities exist for someone who will grow with us.
