Job Description
Payroll Accountant 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA • Remote Our client is a growing, PE-backed healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead U.S. and Canadian payroll operations and compensation-related accounting. This fully REMOTE position reports to the Controller and plays a key role in payroll compliance, financial accuracy, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage internal and outsourced payroll operations Oversee compensation-related accruals and GL reconciliations Ensure multi-state payroll tax compliance and audit readiness Support system/process transformation (Great Plains, TimeStar) Lead a small team and collaborate with HR and Finance Coordinate profit sharing, 401(k) audits, and annual filings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting (required) 3+ years supervising multi-state payroll teams ADP and Great Plains experience preferred CPP certification a plus Strong Excel and analytical skills
