Accountant

• Position available in Duluth, GA.

Job Duties:

• Compute taxes owed by the company and its clients, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with all filing, payment, and reporting requirements.
• Process payroll transactions, ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, and deductions, and manage payroll records.
• Manage accounts receivable, ensure timely collection of payments, and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
• Advise clients on tax strategies, planning, and compliance to optimize financial performance and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Review and audit payroll and personnel records to ensure accuracy and compliance with government regulations and tax laws.
• Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices, using modern accounting software.
• Analyze revenue trends and sales reports to provide insights and advice on financial planning and risk management.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of the bookkeeping process.
