Job Summary:
The Associate, Cash Control will be part of a high-performing team ofmercial real estate cash management experts, executing monthly debt service payments through cash sweeps and direction letters and carrying out routine maintenance and reconciliation of cash management accounts.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the cash flow forplex financing arrangements and participation deals. Record and update transactional data and handle the processing of client and lender payments. Manage cash operations including cash sweeps, direction letters, and the transfer of funds both within and outside theanization, such as advance draws or reserve disbursements. Draft direction letters andanize a central archive of wire transfer references for disbursements executed as per Trimont protocols. Establish the initial setup of the monthly cash flow distribution (waterfall/sweep) template, interpreting the relevant terms in the Loan Agreement and ensuring all associated wire instructions are collected and verified. Compile the monthly cash distribution, verifying its accuracy against the billing statement and reconciling all outstanding amounts. Evaluate and adjust monthly operating expenses as needed, integrating these adjustments into the cash flow distribution. Liaise with Asset Management to secure approval for the finalized cash distribution process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related business field (Accounting / Finance) or equivalent experience
1+ years’ experience with Cash Management, waterfall structures and Banking Strong time management skills and ability to work independently Attention to detail and excellentanizational skills Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint A thorough understanding of generalmercial loan servicing practices and standards Strongmunication skills, both oral and written Strongmunication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all functional lines of the Company’sanization.
