Position Overview:

Are you a CPA with deep technical skills and a strategic mindset? Do you love numbers — but love helping business owners understand and use those numbers even more? We are looking for a CPA Advisor – Tax & CFO Services who will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, create forward-looking CFO projection reports, and deliver high-value tax planning and advisory. This is a client-facing leadership role — perfect for someone who enjoys being the “go-to expert” and helping entrepreneurs make smarter decisions. Yes, experience matters. But your character, clarity of communication, and ability to build trust are what make you the right fit for this role. High-maintenance, humorless, self-entitled, or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and need not apply. We move fast, wear many hats, and support each other along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and review monthly and quarterly financial statement packages Develop and deliver CFO-style projection reports (forecasting, budgeting, cash flow insights) Review and/or prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corps Lead monthly and quarterly client advisory calls to guide decision-making Collaborate with clients to build tax strategies, estimate liabilities, and optimize profitability Supervise and support junior accounting team members Improve internal reporting workflows and advisory systems Be a steady, confident, and clear voice for your clients

Qualifications:

Licensed CPA with 4+ years of experience in public accounting or CFO advisory Strong understanding of GAAP financials, tax compliance, and strategic forecasting Skilled communicator who can explain complex financial concepts in plain language Comfortable leading client relationships with professionalism and empathy Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., Fathom, Jirav, etc.) Experience with Lacerte or other major tax software Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly valued Adaptable, organized, emotionally intelligent — and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
