Spur Hospitality operates Saints + Council and soon Cuevacia, with more locations coming soon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant accounting with expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory management, and general ledger reconciliation. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with IFRS standards to maintain compliance and accuracy in financial practices. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards. Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing and accurate reporting. Supervise payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accuracy in employee compensation. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation for review. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies. Provide guidance and support to finance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Skills Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of restaurant accounting principles and practices. Experience in public accounting is highly desirable. Excellent understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processes, and general ledger reconciliation. Familiarity with IFRS standards is essential for maintaining compliance. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting. Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
