We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PropertyController to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This isa permanent position, perfect for a seasoned professional who iseager to apply their expertise in property accounting to manage andoversee our company’s real estate assets. You will be responsiblefor the overall accounting processes, financial reporting,budgeting, and internal control procedures of our propertyportfolio. This role will provide you with the opportunity to workwith a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-energyenvironment where you can truly make a difference.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all financial aspects ofthe company’s real estate portfolio, including monthly, quarterly,and annual financial statements and reports. 2. Implement andmaintain efficient and effective property accounting systems andinternal control procedures to ensure accurate and timelyreporting. 3. Prepare and analyze annual budgets and forecasts, andreport on variances. 4. Coordinate with external auditors forannual audit processes and ensure all required information isprovided accurately and on time. 5. Work closely with propertymanagers to ensure accurate and timely cash management, includingthe collection of rents and payment of expenses. 6. Review andapprove property-related invoices and ensure they are properlyrecorded and paid. 7. Monitor and analyze property performance andmarket trends to provide strategic recommendations to seniormanagement. 8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws,regulations, and company policies. 9. Provide leadership andguidance to the property accounting team, fostering an environmentof continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. AMaster’s degree or CPA is a plus. 2. Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in property accounting or a similar role. 3. Proficientin property management software and accounting systems. 4. Strongknowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP),financial reporting, and budgeting. 5. Exceptional analyticalskills and attention to detail. 6. Excellent leadership and teammanagement abilities. 7. Ability to handle multiple tasks anddeadlines in a fast-paced environment. 8. Strong communication andinterpersonal skills. 9. High level of integrity and dependabilitywith a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. 10.Experience in real estate industry is highly desirable.
