POSITION SUMMARY

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of a company. Will handle bookkeeping, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with basic knowledge of accounting, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Transactions Processing Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Exact Globe). Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger. Bank & Account Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements with financial records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial statements. Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. Financial Reporting & Support Assist in preparing financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow). Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures. • Provide data for audits and compliance checks. Tax & Compliance Support Assist in sales tax, payroll, and other tax filings. Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies. Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation. Other Administrative & Accounting Tasks Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial tasks.

Required Skills and Requirements:

Must be eligible to legally work in the

USA BA/BS

degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or related field (or pursing one). (Preferred) 1-3 years’ experience in accounting or finance (Preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Exact Globe, QuickBooks, SAP, Excel). Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting. Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
