Senior Accountant:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll manage a broad scope of accounting functions that support both the creative and commercial sides of the business:
Accounts Payable Leadership:
Oversee vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment execution, and 1099 compliance.
Production Accounting Support:
Serve as the liaison for production teams, managing invoicing related to shoots and utilities.
Event and Rental Invoicing:
Manage receivables for clients using the company’s commercial and event spaces.
Month-End Close:
Execute timely and accurate month-end financial close activities in accordance with GAAP standards.
Reconciliations & GL Maintenance:
Perform account reconciliations and maintain integrity of the general ledger.
Audit Prep & Compliance:
Assist in external audit preparations and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial statements and analysis, delivering insights that support strategic leadership decisions. Qualifications for the
Senior Accountant Role:
To excel as a Senior Accountant, you should bring: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). At least 2 years of general accounting experience in public or corporate settings A CPA certification is a plus, but not required. Strong working knowledge of GAAP and sound financial principles. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. A proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills—able to partner effectively with various departments, including executive leadership. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting tools is a bonus.
