SALES TAX TREATMENT

in the Equipment Finance/Leasing industry.

• The Responsibilities will include:
• The overall objective of this position is to read, interpret and apply sales tax regulations while minimizing the sales and use tax burden for the Company. This role in a 100% onsite presence at the Atlanta Location
• Responsible for Sales Tax Treatment guidance in an Equipment Finance Industry
• Ensure that documentation is captured and meets Tax Department standards and requirements.
• Provide support for audits as needed.
• Review the accuracy & completion of appropriate sales tax exemption certificates.
• Provide guidance, support on streamlining sales, and use processes through technology improvements (a plus)
• Qualifications
• Sales Tax Treatment Research Experience
• Deep knowledge of sales tax code, with the ability to read, interpret and apply sales tax regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business related field with 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
• Proficient Alteryx knowledge base. Build and troubleshoot Alteryx workflows for the sales and use compliance processes (a plus)
• Experience with Vertex O Series a plus
• Equipment Finance experience a plus
