SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

– International Company located in Lawrenceville We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing payroll postings, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various teams to achieve reporting and audit objectives.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Process payroll postings from the global payroll platform to internal systems accurately and efficiently. + Reconcile bi-weekly bank postings to ensure alignment with payroll entries. + Monitor wage type postings and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with payroll system providers. + Record severance and related transactions in partnership with HR and central accounting teams. + Ensure compliance with payroll controls and risk management processes. + Manage entries for 401k, healthcare, and other fringe benefits within the appropriate accounting periods. + Respond to payroll-related inquiries from business partners and ensure accurate data reporting. + Handle healthcare and bonus payments, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation. + Support audit activities, including walkthroughs, sampling, and report generation. + Conduct internal balance sheet reviews and prepare monthly financial commentaries. Requirements + Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field of study. + Masters or other advanced degree highly preferred. + CPA certification required. + Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
