Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant in Oakwood, GA.
In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a leading industrial refrigeration systems company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and helping the business run smoothly through sound financial practices. In an Accountant job, you’ll be responsible for: Managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Supporting internal and external audits with accurate documentation and reporting Handling fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and expense allocation Utilizing ERP/accounting software to track and manage financial transactions What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) Excellent organizational and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Professional communication and interpersonal skills
