Electrical Project Associate 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Clyattville, GA Project Associate Are you looking to begin a rewarding career in electrical project management? The Project Associate is phase 1 of 3 on the path to becoming a Project Manager with one of the largest electrical technology companies in the country. The Project Associate reports directly to the project leader. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to build relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility as a Project Associate is to learn through on-the-job experience, peer-to-peer engagement, and technical training. Essential Job Functions This is a list of the most prominent duties and responsibilities. Understand Miller Electric’s service-based approach to the electrical project management process. Begin building long term relationships with your clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and high-quality work ethic. Support the generation of estimates and proposals to support your team in winning new work, establishing procedures, and scheduling timelines. Develop a strong electrical/material vocabulary and understanding of job site etiquette. Work with your team to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with your field leaders to confirm client expectations and coordination with your subcontractors and other trades. Assess construction progress, team needs, and issues through regular project visits with your field supervision. Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Education & Experience
REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree or IBEW licensed electrician Strong computer & Google Suite skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Commitment to developing time management and organizational skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
PREFERRED
