This position is for a Senior Tax Advisor (SeniorTax Accountant), with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in apublic accounting / CPA firm. You would be responsible forpreparing more complex individual and corporate tax returns and mayconduct the initial review of client deliverables prepared by stafftax accountants. The ideal candidate is local to the Greenville, SC area and mustpossess excellent tax and technical knowledge with the ability torecognize planning opportunities and can make decisions on mostaccounting and tax matters. A Master’s degree in Accounting or EACertificate is required

SC RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare more complex income tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065,1040 (schedule C & E)) Prepare and Participate with Client annual tax planning andprojections. Resolve tax notices from government agencies Review basic tax returns Demonstrate an excellent knowledge base of pertinent IRCsections and regulations Possess a strong proficiency in tax research Support clients and team members with stellar relationships andcommunication skills Assist manager in the training of tax staff accountants onclient deliverables, firm processes, and technical skills
Requirements:
Master’s degree in the accounting field of study or EACertificate required CPA certification or working toward exam completion/experiencerequired for licensure, preferred Three to five years of experience as a tax accountant in thepublic accounting industry required Proficient in Business Accounting Must have Business tax returns experience, someequity/ownership transfer experience desired Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral,and written communication skills Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask andcomplete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Dedicated to superior client service
