Inventory and cost accountant Cimbar Resources Inc. 49 Jackson Lake Rd, Chatsworth, GA 30705 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory and Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end of the month inventory reporting, updating product costing, and financial statement analysis. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze end of month inventory reports Monitor daily inventory transactions for significant data entry errors Work with plant personnel to correct data entry errors Analyze labor and overhead expenses to establish updated rates for product costing Run product costing updates as needed for changes in material costs or for new products Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations through technical accounting practices. Utilize Infor and Cyberquery for financial reporting and data management. Support month-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and account analyses. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Inventory/Cost Accountant or in a similar role within corporate accounting. Strong skills in financial report writing and interpretation. Proficiency in accounting software such as Infor is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial analysis. Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices. Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
