This dual-role position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and excellent administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A high degree of independent judgment, self-motivation, and effective communication skills are required as well as knowledge of spreadsheets and Quickbooks. Responsibilities
- Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints.
- Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and/or deliveries.
- Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and send invoices; follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments.
- Other duties as necessary. Qualifications
- Familiarity with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
- Knowledge of email systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Gmail.
- Working knowledge of or ability to learn to use office equipment, including printers, fax machines, and phone systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic.
