This dual-role position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and excellent administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A high degree of independent judgment, self-motivation, and effective communication skills are required as well as knowledge of spreadsheets and Quickbooks. Responsibilities

  • Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints.
  • Answering phone calls and calling customers and vendors to follow up on appointments and/or deliveries.
  • Compiling and maintaining records of office business transactions.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and send invoices; follow-up on outstanding payments.
  • Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, fax machines and multimedia instruments.
  • Other duties as necessary. Qualifications
  • Familiarity with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
  • Knowledge of email systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Gmail.
  • Working knowledge of or ability to learn to use office equipment, including printers, fax machines, and phone systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic.
  • Ability to develop consistent positive Customer Service Experiences.

Must have a good attitude, experience in an office setting, can communicate simply and effectively, both in written and spoken form. Good phone etiquette and discretion, when necessary.
