Senior Accountant Position Available In East Baton Rouge, Louisiana

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to join a growing team in the Baton Rouge area. This individual will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, technically strong in accounting principles, and bring robust software experience along with advanced Excel skills .

Key Responsibilities:

Manage monthly and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting reports Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations Leverage ERP/accounting software and Excel for financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:
