Summary Pedelahore & Co., LLP is growing rapidly, and we’re seeking skilled, motivated accountants to grow with us. We have an excellent opportunity for a CAAS Experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Metairie office. The ideal candidate will a have a strong public accounting background and a passion for delivering high-quality client service. Responsibilities

• Review client general ledgers and record adjusting journal entries
• Analyze financial statements and oversee accounting processes in QuickBooks
• Preparation of financial statements
• Prepares monthly account reconciliations and sales tax filings
• Prepares quarterly and annual payroll tax reports to include W2’s, W3 and Forms 1099 MISC
• Assist in the training, coaching, development and motivation of staff
• Address staff questions and troubleshoot accounting or related issues
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, offering timely and accurate service
• Collaborate with partners and team members on all phases of client engagement Requirements
• Experience in Public accounting
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Able to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously with consistency and accuracy
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
• Proficiency and working knowledge in QuickBooks Desktop/Online is a plus At Pedelahore & Co.
