Accounts Receivable Accountant Position Available In Lafayette, Louisiana

$23.50/hour

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and actively follow up on outstanding balances Communicate with clients via phone, email, and mail to ensure timely collections Generate, track, and manage invoices using systems like SAP, Ariba, OpenInvoice, or similar platforms Investigate billing issues and discrepancies, and apply effective collection strategies Monitor repayment progress and maintain accurate records of transactions Provide updates and reports to the Corporate Controller and CFO Issue monthly statements and process credit card payments Support additional accounting or finance-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 5-7 years of hands-on AR experience Strong organizational and communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Experience in oilfield services (rentals, inventory sales, or fixed assets) is a plus
