Financial Controller (Remote) Position Available In Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented FinancialController to oversee and manage the financial operations of ourorganization on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will play a keyrole in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports,maintaining internal controls, and contributing to the strategicdirection of the company’s finances while working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, includingBilling, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, andRevenue Recognition. Prepare and publish timely monthly financialstatements and management reports. Coordinate the preparation ofregulatory reporting (as applicable). Research technical accountingissues for compliance. Ensure quality control over financialtransactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local,state, and federal government reporting requirements and taxfilings. Develop and document business processes and accountingpolicies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Work closelywith external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance andsuccessful audits. Assist in financial planning, budgeting, andforecasting processes. Perform risk management by analyzing theorganization’s liabilities and investments. Provide guidance toremote accounting teams across time zones.
