Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant Position Available In Livingston, Louisiana

Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant Recruiting Solutions Denham Springs, LA 70726 Full Charge Bookkeeper A stable, dynamic and rapidly growing Plumbing Contractor company has an opportunity for you to use your Accounting and Business Metrics expertise to contribute to the strategic development of this organization. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for processing the full cycle of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, customer & vendor invoices, knowledge of construction accounting (preferred) and other necessary duties assigned by the owner. Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate financial records and manage cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports to support decision-making.
• Facilitate reports for leadership meetings, track administrative tasks, and ensure accountability.
• Oversee employee evaluations and manage incentive programs.
• Coordinate recruiting and onboarding processes.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and compliance efforts.
• Manage work in progress (WIP) report accuracy to track work and payments.
• Collaborate with process improvements across departments.
• Other functions as directed by the owner Essential Qualifications
• Five (5) plus years of bookkeeping within a construction business generating at least $5 million in annual sales.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred; CPA is a plus.
• Verifiable experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in gathering and displaying business performance data.
