This position focuses on income tax return preparation and financial statement reporting, with the opportunity to assist our bookkeeping staff on various projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare federal and state individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary income tax returns Assist with compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP Assist with tax planning, compliance, and research Communicate with clients to gather documentation, provide updates, and ensure deadlines are met Support partners and senior accountants with client engagements Assist the bookkeeper with special projects and financial reporting tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA or on CPA track preferred 1-3 years of experience in public accounting preferred Exposure to tax software (e.g., Lacerte, UltraTax, CCH Prosystem fx or Drake) Understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
