Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain the financials for several captive insurance companies domiciled in DE, TN, NC, and MT on a monthly basis. Enter bank transactions into Quickbooks and reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis. Analyze monthly investment account statements, enter investment account transactions in Quickbooks and reconcile accounts on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly journal entries in Quickbooks. Generate monthly financials in accordance with GAAP. Assist with preparation of 1099s. Assist with preparation of annual reports. Prepare surplus calculations to determine amount of available surplus for alternative investments and dividends. Prepare bank transaction listings Prepare investment calculations to determine amount available to be invested. Timely respond to audit and examination requests from auditors and regulators. Numbers Quantative Skills Requirements and Qualifications:
