To continue building upon the sustained growth we’ve experienced within our Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services (https://www.cbh.com/services/transactions/forensic-and-dispute-advisory-services/) practice, we are seeking an analytically minded and detail-oriented Associate to join our distributed national team in multiple office locations throughout our footprint or possibly remote for the right resource. Our ideal candidate is a degreed accountant motivated to performing a variety of financial/accounting engagements for clients across a wide industrial array, leveraging data analysis, critical thinking and writing skills to formulate deliverables. While demonstrated experience in either a public accounting firm or corporate accounting team is nice to have, it is not required. If you are seeking an opportunity to address new and dynamic challenges every day – keep reading! •As an Associate, you will contribute to deliverable activities including:•+ Preparation of discovery (document) requests to obtain relevant information + Analysis of financial data from documents provided (tax returns, financial statements, general ledgers, etc.) + Detailed analysis of financial data within database programs + Study and analysis of information from other documents produced, including complaints/petitions, deposition transcripts, contracts, agreements, etc. + Develop approach to calculating and refuting damages alleged in litigation matters + Preparation of damage calculations or rebuttal of same + Preparation of expert reports in connection with damage calculations or other matters alleged in litigation as applicable •What you bring to the role:•+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance or other relevant business discipline + Strong functional skills in key Microsoft software – Excel, Word and Outlook + Team player, capable of working in a deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy while navigating ambiguous & complex client assignments leveraging superior analytical skills + Solid organizational skills, supporting the ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and/or within a group + Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to travel (if requested by client)
