Job Overview We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a role supporting Human Resources functions or employee-related accounting. The ideal candidate brings strong tax accounting knowledge, a proactive mindset, and thrives in a collaborative environment where HR and Finance intersect.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the end-of-day shutdown team and provide backup support for the Senior Accounting Manager Assist the banking team and processing team as needed Reconcile monthly bank accounts and balance client liability accounts Conduct lost client reconciliation and follow-up Support annual audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; experience supporting HR or People Operations a plus Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations, particularly payroll and employment tax Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MasterTax, or similar) and Excel Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus Why Join Netchex?
