Staff Accountant Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organization while developing your skills in various areas of accounting.

Responsibilities include:

Financial Management:

Oversee and ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and accounting data. Maintain general ledger and records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities. +

Reconciliation & Analysis:

Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy. +

Month-End & Reporting:

Lead the timely completion of the month-end close process and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with

U.S. GAAP.

Asset Management:

Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules. +

Audit & Tax Support:

Assist with the preparation of information required for fiscal year-end audits and corporate tax returns. +

Research & Compliance:

Research and advise on proper GAAP accounting treatment for new processes, ensuring adherence to standards and maintaining strong internal controls. +

General Ledger Maintenance:

Support ongoing maintenance and related requirements for the general ledger system. +

Special Projects:
