Job Details Position Summary The SeniorStaff Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team,responsible for supporting the monthly close process, financialreporting, internal controls, and audits. The ideal candidate willbring strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding ofU.S. GAAP, and hands-on experience navigating the fast-paced andevolving environment of a growth-stage biotech company. KeyResponsibilities Own and manage areas of the monthly, quarterly,and year-end close processes (e.g., accruals, journal entries,account reconciliations). Prepare and analyze financial statementsand supporting schedules in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Assist inSEC reporting and SOX compliance (if applicable). Ensure accuratecoding of transactions and adherence to internal controls.
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Procurement, andR D teams to ensure timely and accurate financial data. Supportannual audits and tax compliance efforts by preparing documentationand responding to auditor requests. Help implement and improvesystems, policies, and procedures to scale accounting operations asthe company grows. Participate in ERP system improvements andautomation initiatives.
