The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting corporate finance initiatives. The Fund Accountant will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate account reconciliations and timely reporting. Fresh graduates are welcome, Bachelors in Finance or Accounting or economics or “Business Administration” Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct thorough account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy of financial data. Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities to meet industry standards. Perform financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization. Utilize Quicken for efficient financial management and reporting. Mentor junior staff members in financial concepts and best practices. Ensure adherence to double-entry bookkeeping principles throughout all accounting processes. Collaborate with corporate finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Experience Proven experience in fund accounting or a similar role within the finance sector. Strong understanding of financial concepts, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards. Familiarity with accounting software such as Quicken and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in conducting account reconciliations and performing detailed financial analysis. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous mentoring experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities within the finance domain.
