Job Details Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor’s degreerequired; Master’s preferred; CPA is a plus Minimum 4 years ofprogressive accounting experience, with significant exposure toprivate credit and closed-end fund structures Experience at acredit fund or Big 4 firm preferred Deep understanding of bilateralloans, credit documentation, and carried interest waterfallcalculations Demonstrated expertise in fair value accounting forilliquid credit instruments Advanced Excel modeling capabilitiesfor waterfalls and tracking Experience with fund accountingplatforms (Enfusion, Geneva, Partners, Precision LMS) Must have aproven record of applying AI tools in financial analysis orworkflow improvement Self-starter with ability to operateindependently in a lean, entrepreneurial team Detail-oriented withstrong analytical and organizational skills Willing to work ahybrid schedule in
Boston Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseemonth/quarter/year-end close with fund admin; validate NAV andPCAPs Maintain internal shadow books for journal entries,allocations, and waterfall mechanics Track and allocate investmentincome, including PIK, fee, and interest accruals Plan capitalcalls/distributions and manage investor transfers in coordinationwith third-party administrators Monitor loan covenant complianceand maintain supporting documentation for restructures andamendments Lead internal cash control and support bankingrelationships Assist with complex valuations of bilateral loans andilliquid instruments Support regulatory filings: Form PF, ADV, 13F,13D/G, and year-end audits Analyze portfolio performance metricsand support ad hoc financial reporting Proactively experiment withAI tools and techniques to improve reporting workflows and accuracyInterested in hearing more?
