Sr. Accountant Position Available In Worcester, Massachusetts

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Westborough, Massachusetts. This role requires a strong background in technical accounting, particularly within the technology sector, and expertise in NetSuite operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of accounting processes and providing essential guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations within NetSuite, including revenue arrangements, general ledger activities, and fixed asset tracking.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts and balance sheets to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to document internal processes and workflows.
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of NetSuite for accounting operations.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and other financial transaction reviews.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and best practices throughout all operations. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the technology industry.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, with the ability to operate across multiple modules.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including general ledger and revenue recognition.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and account reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively train and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
