Payroll Tax Accountant at MaineHealth in Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Description
Fully remote or hybrid work opportunity!
The Payroll Tax Accountant role is responsible for all aspects of Payroll Tax compliance and Payroll related General Ledger accounts. This role serves as the in-house resource for all Payroll Tax matters, providing guidance to entities and team members. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
College degree or relevant experience required.
License/Certifications:
Professional certification preferred.
Experience:
Three years of payroll experience with three years of experience concentrated in Payroll Operations required. Experience should be in Taxation of Foreign Nationals, Payroll General Ledger, Accounting, multi-state large organizations and Payroll Taxes. Experience with Lawson, Kronos, One Staff, BSI, or Windstar preferred.
