Education/Licensure/Certifications/Qualifications:

Accounting Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

3+ years’ experience Excellent Microsoft Excel Knowledge Strong data entry skills Proficient 10 key skills Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong analytical and mathematical skills Able to work within a team in a professional and courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare weekly revenue report for management. Record and reconcile Capital Campaign payments and pledges monthly. Prepare month end journal entries ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review budget to actual expense variances Maintains the department Financial Dashboard reports in excel and enter necessary monthly data into the reports. Monthly department dashboard review Review, analyse and reconcile balance sheet accounts with resolution to reconciling items. Maintain the fixed asset data base, recording of capital expenditures, ensures that the depreciation expense is properly recorded, closing construction projects in CIP accounts, and reconciling capital expenditures to the capital and special project budgets. Provide analysis of capital spending monthly to management. Distribution of financial package to Finance Committee Distribute monthly reports. Reconcile assigned bank accounts. Assist with maintenance of the G/L Assist with preparation of audit schedules and documentation as necessary. Facilitates financial education to all hospital staff as needed. Answer inquiries from internal and external customers in a pleasant and efficient manner Provide backup for A/P and Cash Posting Other duties assigned as needed.
