Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. We are looking for both our locations (Columbia MO & Moberly MO). This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a significant impact on the organization’s financial health.

Duties:

• Conduct tax preparations, payroll, audits, prepare financial statements, and provide financial advice
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; Current CPA certification required
• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting and Cash Flow Analysis
• Knowledge of Wills Trusts Estate Law, LIHTC, Securities Law, and SOX
• Experience with Thomson Reuters, Drake, Quickbooks, similar accounting software
