Jaguar Transport Holdings Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. The role involves assisting with bookkeeping, processing transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions and maintain organized financial records. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist with preparing journal entries and general ledger maintenance. Help in preparing financial reports and documentation. File and organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documents. Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding financial issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Perform other administrative and accounting duties as needed. Knowledgeable in various state sales and use tax.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Dynamics, QuickBooks). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong numerical and analytical ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
