REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Related work experience Prior accounting experience with accounts payable or accounts receivable. Prior experience with data entry and online banking, reconciliation of checks and bank statements are preferred. Formal education or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Detailed understanding of manufacturing financial results. Skills Must have problem solving attitude and be able to manage a team. Must have good interpersonal skills and also be able to work independently. Must be able to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

Accounting responsibilities Manage and support the Accounts Receivable, Inventory Summary, Cash application, daily cash reporting, and Accounts Payable activities for Harmony Castings and TPI Arcade. This includes but is not limited having knowledge pertaining to: compiling daily cash statement, daily inventory, invoice shipped orders, credit memos, RMA’s, and collections. This key position will perform a wide range of finance and accounting duties/ projects under the direction of the Controller. These projects could include cost analysis, assisting in internal/ external audit requests, and assisting in local and state regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities Performs other related responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Controller. This position will be responsible for their portion of the month end closing process and expected to complete all month end closing assignments within the appropriate 3 day close. Additionally, this position will be critical to monthly financials preparation. This includes but is not limited to: recurring journal entries, fixed asset management, general ledger reconciliations, cost rolls, balance sheet reviews, IT assistance, standard cost analysis, and other duties assigned by the controller.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands This position requires periods of sitting and viewing computer monitor. In addition, this position should visit the manufacturing floor when necessary. Working Conditions The employee will be exposed to an environment where hearing, eye safety and safety shoes are required.
