The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of governmental accounting practices and the ability to interpret financial reports effectively. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP standards. Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the organization’s financial health. Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data. Interpret and analyze financial reports, providing insights to management for strategic planning. Ensure compliance with securities law and other regulatory requirements. Utilize accounting software, including Quicken, to streamline financial processes. Write comprehensive financial reports that communicate findings clearly and effectively. Skills Proficient in governmental accounting practices and principles. Strong ability to interpret financial reports and perform cash flow analysis. Experience with accounts receivable management and account reconciliation. Knowledge of securities law as it pertains to financial reporting. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Quicken, is preferred. Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
