& Sons Construction Company has multiple openings available for the position of Project Accountant with the following qualifications: Requires U.S. Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting or related field. Must havepleted coursework in both supply chain operations management and data analytics. Periodic relocation to unanticipated client construction sites anyw in the U.S. every 9 to 24 months. Background check and drug test required. Job duties for the position include: Examine, analyze, and interpret financial and accounting records related to multimillion-dollar industrial construction projects, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of transactions through detailed audits and data analytics. Review and reconcile project financial reports, budget variances, and accounts payable/receivable, ensuringpliance with financial regulations and adnce to accounting standards. Prepare and presentprehensive monthly financial statements, including invoice packages for billable projects, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, andpliance with contract terms. Oversee the development and maintenance of project budgets and financial projections, verifying appropriate fee structures, staffing costs, and allocation of resources to support effective financial planning. Implement and refine job cost reporting systems, providing management and project teams with detailed weekly and monthly financial reports to aid in financial decision-making and performance tracking. Integrate financial systems with operational data to enhance visibility into project costs, streamline financial reporting processes, and ensure alignment with financial objectives. Conduct financial audits and monthly accounting reviews with project and construction management teams, identifying variances, assessingpliance, and providing actionable rmendations for enhancing financial performance. Prepare, maintain, and review financial reconciliations, ensuring accurate project billing andpliance with contractual obligations, as well as facilitating client submissions. Utilize data analytics tools to develop financial models for project costs, timelines, and resource allocation, enabling proactive identification of potential budget overruns or delays. Generate and distribute monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, ie statements, and project cost schedules, to provide stakeholders with clear insights into project performance. Facilitate effective cash flow management by auditing financial documents, processing invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate transaction recording. Analyze supply chain expenditures related to construction projects to identify cost-saving opportunities, including vendor negotiations and procurement strategies. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize resource allocation across projects, promoting efficient use of manpower and materials while minimizing waste. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance, project timelines, and resource utilization, providing insights into operational efficiencies and identifying areas for improvement.
