Job Description
Senior Tax Accountant
Responsibilities:
Prepares and reviews individual returns primarily with Schedule C’s and Schedule E’s.
Prepares and reviews partnership and corporation return’s ensuring quality and accuracy.
Performs tax research and tax projections, as requested.
Meets all deadlines regarding tax return reviews and projects.
Clearly communicates directly with clients on a daily basis.
Clearly communications with management on work status & client issues that arise.
Review of data entry and financials.
Calculation of sales and use taxes.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Five or more years of experience in public accounting.
Individual, partnership, and corporation return preparation experience.
Strong accounting software and excel skills. Drake tax software preferred.
Must be organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
Ability to break down complex accounting topics into easy-to-understand information for clients.

Strong tax researching skills.
QuickBooks experience required.
Ability to observe and understand business processes, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
