We’re looking for an Accountant I to take ownership of a diverse set of responsibilities including a blend of general ledger accounting, maintaining internal controls, and tax compliance. Reporting directly to the controller, this role will allow you to gain valuable experience, focus on continuous improvement each month, and make a real impact on our financial operations.

Own the month-end closing process including journal entries and reconciliations for leases, treasury, state and local tax, insurance, intercompany transactions, and other areas Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, including automation opportunities Help establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls over the expense reimbursement and purchase card process while ensuring compliance with company policies Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports, providing key insights that drive decision-making Analyze and report on monthly variances and performance to optimize financial efficiency Complete property tax filings and annual 1099 filings Support ad hoc reporting and other finance-related projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 2+ years of experience completing journal entries and other financial accounting tasks in a deadline driven environment Strong understanding of

U.S. GAAP

(manufacturing experience is a plus) Sense of humor, integrity, impeccable work ethic and resilient hands-on problem solver Sense of curiosity and desire to learn about our products and markets Team player with collaborative spirit and a focus on customer service Positive attitude and sense of urgency with excellent follow-through and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills Advanced proficiency in Excel.
